Beaches dot the coast of St. Thomas on all sides of the island and our beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. No matter where you are on the island, you are just minutes from a breathtaking beach. In fact, Villa Serenita has two beaches within walking distance and another 4 that are only a 5 minute drive away.
Most of the beaches in St. Thomas are made up of baby-powder like, white sand. The waters are relatively calm and almost always crystal clear. All of the beaches in St. Thomas are public including resort beaches although often beach chairs and amenities are for hotel guests only without the purchase of a day pass. As a general rule, you will need to pack the essentials: water, sunblock, snacks, snorkel gear, towels and beach chairs – all of which we provide at Villa Serenita.
While there are many things to do in St. Thomas, the best part of staying at a vacation villa in St. Thomas like Villa Serenita is that you can explore all of the amazing beaches of the island and pick your favorite. Of course, use common sense when visiting the island’s beaches. Don’t stay after dark. Leave marine life alone. And don’t go in the water if it is too rough.
